[Kiriko arrives home after a long day of work to a very excitable child and not enough energy to deal with him. As a means of escape he commanded the problem to do his schoolwork and sought refuge in the bedroom with his wife.

It was true he still daydreamed of his old life, but Kiriko had always been adaptable to change. After his son's birth he'd confessed his identity to Michelle and settled into a routine life as a general practitioner. He still preformed "special requests" off the record once in awhile, but the cases he chose were few and far between, and under a different name unless it was legal end-of-life care. "Dr. Kiriko" could still be an advocate for euthanasia without any more crime or blackmail that could disrupt to his now comfortable life. And he was getting old, now...

He glances down the hall to make sure their 12-year-old is still grudgingly doing his math homework at the kitchen table before entering the bedroom. The doctor hangs his suit jacket in the closet as he addresses Michelle.]

Your son just asked me how we met.

[He says this as dryly as he can, but with his back to her, she can't see the slight smirk on Kiriko's face.]

It wasn't exactly the thing you shared at a dinner party or with your child that hadn't graduated to PG-13 movies yet.]

[PG-13 movies?! God forbid. He didn't want to think about the damage the average Hollywood flick would do on that child's imagination. Or his energy.]

I told him to ask his mother after he finished his homework.
